Anjali Kaushik

Dr Anjali Kaushik (PhD, PGDM, and B.E.) is an Associate Professor with Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon. She has 18 years of work experience in research and consulting related to innovation, e-Governance and cyber security.

Prior to joining academia, she was heading the vertical research group in International Data Corporation (IDC) India Limited and before that she was with the Indian Air Force (IAF). She has been a consultant on several Government of India assignments such as the evaluation of ‘National e-Governance Awards’ for four consecutive years, impact assessment of e-Governance projects as a ‘Knowledge Partner’, developing an ‘Information Security Best Practices Framework for Government Sector in India’ in collaboration with NIST National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA (NIST) etc.

Education and Achievements:

  • She completed her Engineering from the MIT College and there after pursued a Post Graduate Diploma from the Management Development Institute.
  • She has successfully completed her PhD in Information Systems Planning and was one of the 12 Scholars chosen for the CRISP program by the Said Business School, Oxford University, UK. She also possesses certifications in ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/ Implementor and is PMP Certified.

Prior to her interest in academia, she has worked with the Indian Air Force as a Senior Technical Officer.

She has authored three books, participated as speaker on e-Governance/cyber security at various forums and has more than fifteen publications in various national and international journals. Her last book was on ‘Innovations in Public Service Delivery’.

She is fond of reading, travelling and has two lovely children -Rishabh and Geetanshi whom she loves spending time with and treating them to her delicacies.
